Submission of Application for Internship

The Lee Teng Internship program is open to students presently enrolled in a United States college or university and who have finished their junior year by the spring of 2010. The program will also consider outstanding candidates who have completed their sophomore year.

The following items need to be completed to apply:

  • Please click here to fill out the online application for the internship.

  • Please arrange for two reference letters to be emailed to leetenginternship@fnal.gov. References should be sent either by professors or by previous supervisors who are familiar with your technical abilities. Letters should include a honest evaluation of your ranking relative to other students at a similar stage in their education.

  • Please send an official copy of your transcript to: Carol Angarola, Fermilab, MS 226, Box 500, Batavia, IL 60510.

All application materials must be received by February 14, 2010.

The applications will be reviewed by a committee of scientists and engineers from Fermilab, Argonne, and the US Particle Accelerator School.
